CYMC GOES TO NYC!!!! Voices of SF YOUTH hit Manhattan theatres.
November 2004, Conscious Youth Media Crew Youth Filmmakers traveled to New York City to represent their short films at the Hip Hop Odyssey International Film Festival Freshest Youth Program (H2OIFF). Seven CYMC films were selected to run during one straight week with other youth films from across the nation at the Bronx Museum of Arts for high school students and after school program participants from around the city. The final awards ceremony took place that weekend with a program celebrating the culture and contributions of hip-hop and youth expression. Go to www.h2oiff.org for more info on the festival.
