Career and College Pathways |
We offer college counseling and university tours
to campus departments
specializing in film and video production (NYU Film School, UCLA,
USC, CalArts,
San Francisco State University). CYMC also helps youth gain specific
career development skills like resume writing and job searches.
Our internship program places eligible youth participants in professional
environments in the film industry and related
multimedia fields, such as special effects company Radium Media,Inc.,
and
leading commercial and film production company Ridley Scott Associates,
Inc. Several CYMC youth interned as Production Assistants on the
award winning 2004 Nike commercial "The Magnet" featuring
Lance Armstorng and directed by Jake Scott.
